Jamie became a Feldenkrais convert after struggling with chronic pain for years, likely from a Lyme disease infection. After living in pain for so long, Feldenkrais offered a way back to an active and care-free life. Jamie is now stronger and more flexible than she has ever been after adopting a daily Feldenkrais practice. She has been pleased to discover that Feldenkrais makes her feel more emotionally regulated as well. Feldenkrais helped her discover that even her most deeply embedded patterns could be changed, which led to a life-long study of neuroplasticity and the transformative potential of the mind-body connection.
Using confident but gentle touch, she encourages the nervous system to reorganize itself.
Jamie is a born healer. It is painful for her to see others suffer and she takes joy in helping people to live a pain-free and healthy life. She is honored to join people on their self-improvement and movement journeys.
Jamie has always loved to be active, playing soccer, running, backpacking, hiking, dancing, doing Aikido and Chi Gon, and chasing her kid around.
